Where do I begin to tell her story, my wife’s life events, I suppose I will start where I left off, three months ago. Yes why don’t I do that, Therese is 77 years young today, and it is now one year since she undergo surgery, a shunt was placed inside her head, a shunt is a hollow tube surgically placed in the brain, to help drain cerebrospinal fluid and redirect it to another location in the body, where it can be reabsorbed. Shunt procedures can address pressure on the brain, caused by hydrocephalus and relieve its symptoms such as dementia and lack of bladder control.
