In The Twilight
Funny how time passes by where do the good
times go
She said to me why do you pin yourself to
the house
I chuckled to myself I should have
answered tired of going South
Yes I have been North not to mention East
and I have been West
As far North as New York cutting down to
Pennsylvania no contest
II
New Jersey gave me the blues so I off to
Maryland quite a fairyland
West Virginia with its charming scenery push
me on to my gal Virginia
Should I go West or should I go South a coin
toss Carolinas here I come
And none stop in Georgia to Florida staying
here in the sunshine state
My home is in Milwaukee I miss the rivers and
the lake no Sir I won't be late
